OVERVIEW + DECISION

I found this serum very lightweight and non-greasy on my oily skin. It absorbed quickly and was easily layered under other products without feeling heavy or sticky.

Although I didn’t notice any brightening results, I did notice a slight improvement in oil control. My skin tolerates the product well, without redness or itching during or after use. Although it contains AHA/BHA, I used it daily without any irritation or signs of excessive peeling. I also used other blackhead removal products in my PM regimen (clay mask twice a week and COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid twice a week), but my skin remained balanced throughout the testing period.

Overall, the results were subtle. It didn’t have a noticeable effect on acne or breakouts, and the lightening effects were minimal on my skin. The experience of using it was fun, but the results weren’t particularly powerful or transformative.

Because of this, I probably won’t repurchase it. However, I would still use it if I already had it, so I intend to finish what I have. I think it would be a good option for people with sensitive skin who want a very gentle introduction to exfoliating or vitamin C products.
