Before you say a single word – make sure that if you have an original ZIIP Halo, you are in a very safe place. The ZIIP Halo upgrade is for wanderers – those who have been hesitating whether or not to jump in – and serial developers looking for the newest iPhone or upgraded software. Personally, I wish the iPhone never had updates because it was GOOD<\/em>! I hate changing my phone and have to wait until the buttons are literally hanging off before I go in – and I will say we’re about to get a new TV that I know I probably won’t be able to turn on without help.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n However, if you are not resistant to change like me (and, if you are a regular reader, you will know that the ZIIP Halo, and now 2.0, is the one gadget that I will not part with under any circumstances). When I heard the news of ZIIP Halo 2.0, an improved version of ZIIP Halo with tweaks and improvements, much of it driven by user feedback, I was hesitant because I was already very happy with the results I was getting on my original device. However, after understanding the reasons for the changes, I came to the conclusion that I like a brand that listens to their customers and acts accordingly.<\/p>\n First, the ZIIP Halo 2.0 comes with three 30ml conductive gels with skin functions to give more oomph to your skin activity. The silicone plug has been improved to stop the gel from getting into the device (something that has never happened to me honestly) and there is a travel bag. Most importantly though, the waveform tweaks make it more accurate (63%) in ZIIP 2.0 so in theory the results will be higher than the original ZIIP Halo. I’ve used both – I’m obviously committed to my original ZIIP Halo and look at the 2.0 with great suspicion as a beginner’s connector, but it would make sense if you were on the fence about whether to go in for the ZIIP Halo 2.0.<\/p>\n In use, you don’t feel any difference, but I liked the option to choose which gel to use for any occasion and I’m glad to see Silver Gel there because that’s my favorite. If you’ve never used the ZIIP Halo before, it’s a skin care tool made easy to use with a built-in app. You can choose your procedures (anything from a 4 Minute Facial to a long, deep Collagen Boost) and follow a step-by-step visual guide that can be anywhere between 2 and 12 minutes, depending on how much time you have. In the end, you remember the procedures (short though) and a little buzz to move you to the next step, it’s very easy and unobtrusive.<\/p>\n Now I’m a long time user of ZIIP Halo so I know it inside and out – I mostly use it as an internal boost a minute before going out or when I know I need an extra glow at an event. I also take it more often during the winter (which seems to have increased tenfold for me – a combination of being a slug and the dreaded February light that curses everyone).
