I am a 33 year old female. This still works. I will post the first pictures and the “now” pictures. <\/p>\n I had a flare up that started on my face when I moved into a very old home in Nashville, TN on 9\/3\/23 (yes, 2 years ago now). It slowly spread through my body in October. I have tried literally every topical (anti-fungal + steroid) and oral medication. He replied that everything is fine. I was on Doxycycline for 3 months but I was getting off it and it was slowing it down a bit. I went back home to the DMV and the dermatologists\/and \u2757\ufe0fhospitalS\u2757\ufe0f I’ve been in and out of put me on biologics like Dupixent and now Nemluvio. My big skin here did a biopsy and it was a bucket list diagnosis of eczema but every doctor I’ve seen says “that doesn’t look like eczema”. I never bite again? Not once. At all. Simple mupirocin and Vaseline at the hospital (and incontinence pads- and kept there for a week\u2026no joke, so I won’t answer you- it doesn’t sting but it feels. Hard to describe). Please don’t tell me this is Morgellon’s. I fired my therapist of 5 years more than that (not really but you get my point). It’s so confusing and I need something more concrete than that because I’ve done EVERYTHING and nothing works. Got my contact dermatitis allergy panel- had 7 come back- I applied pretty much everything I had and started over and moved in with my parents to basically confirm the fish tank area – had to quit my job, sick leave from school, be on my own in 2025. This took my life away. The new derm I last saw took a swab from one area and came back with little staph left which makes sense because in May 2023, the derm took a swab and said I had MRSA which could not be treated with antibiotics. But here’s the deal- everyone agrees that MRSA\/staph is not the cause- I recently got MRSA\/Staph from having over 100 open sores on my body wondering about my health most of the time I didn’t care bc I had no medical help\/care for a while. Yes, that’s what the papers say now \u201cOver 100 open wounds\/sores\u201d. So Out of Control. My PCP has been trying to get me into Infectious Disease even though he doesn’t know what else to do. <\/p>\n My skin has been really good my whole life- everywhere- I’ve been really blessed and I’ve never worried, I’ve never struggled with it- I’ve always slept with make up on, never used fancy products or 10 steps, forgot to wash my face all the time and it doesn’t matter\u2026 <\/p>\n Hints that doctors won’t listen to that I think are somewhat helpful: I moved into an old house that wouldn’t pass code and I wouldn’t have been allowed to rent on the market if it wasn’t for him and privately rented by a church in a shared neighborhood…an award-winning architect (who knew what he was talking about) came home and was shocked. I also ended up unknowingly bringing in a tree with mites around this same time (early September), a bird of paradise tree, and put it on a jute rug in my sunroom (small boutique garden stores seriously sell 5-6ft trees with MITES to customers? Why am I so stupid? Is that a normal thing to do? Tough question but I remember walking around like crazy butemites… not once and every derm is this assures me I do NOT have worms or parasites. The derm I work with here in DC even gave me Ivermectin to throw it off (lol). No new meds were taken at that time (9\/2\/23) I had to get 6 gold piercings, MX in my ear at one time and it got infected. I shot myself in the butt to fix it when I got home but that was March\/April 2023 and the start of this\u2026 disease (?)\u2026<\/p>\n And before you mention excoriation disorder- I was open minded about that- I changed all meds, went to a psych ward basically all summer (I loved it!), I made myself a human vegetable from sedatives (and when they sent me home- I couldn’t stand up or take care of myself- my mom had to literally feed me and bathe me- I had my hands “rested” for two weeks), (someone literally watches you 24\/7- or washes and uses the toilet- yep), and, since you see, my fellow reddit martians, the mystery patches stay strong. They took me off sedatives\/seroquel\/OCD meds\/memantine\/literally tried it all and nothing changed- the skin looked the same. <\/p>\n So no, I don’t believe it is “mentally”, “in my head”, and I don’t choose anything. I don’t use drugs, and I don’t drink alcohol. I eat extremely clean – to the point of exhaustion now – I try to use food as every medicine I can find. I have tried eastern\/western\/Ayurvedic medicine techniques. <\/p>\n I honestly started getting paranoid and coming up with conspiracy theories sometime this year because honestly WTF IS GOING ON. Did someone try to poison me? Is this a dark web biologic attack from my archenemies who hate to see me win so bad they’re trying to take me out new age cyberpunk style? LMK. <\/p>\n Anyone want to take a shot?! <\/p>\n I will answer all questions ASAP.
