Jamie Carragher has revealed his shortlist of four players to become Manchester United’s next manager, suggesting that the next permanent hire at Old Trafford must be someone who represents the right “energy” and “drive” to lead the club forward. <\/p>\n
United parted ways with Ruben Amorim earlier this month after a disastrous 14-month reign at the club and have since appointed Michael Carrick as manager until the end of the season.<\/p>\n
Carrick scored an impressive 2-0 win against rivals Manchester City in his first game in charge, but Carragher insists Old Trafford needs a “special” leader.<\/p>\n
