Thomas Frank insists he feels the support of the Tottenham board despite the pressure in his job as head coach.<\/p>\n

Frank revealed he had lunch with Spurs’ top brass on Monday after a toxic 2-1 home defeat to relegation-threatened West Ham.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports News<\/em> He revealed on Monday that Frank will be given Tuesday’s Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund after board level meetings regarding his future.<\/p>\n

Spurs officials are believed to be looking at all options after fans booed Frank and chanted ‘sack early’ chants at him, but the Dane insists he is on the same page with his employers.<\/p>\n

“I have been feeling trusted along the way. I have said that every press conference, there is support and support,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had lunch with Nick [Beucher] and Vinai [Venkatesham, CEO] and John [Lange, sporting director] today, everything is fine.<\/p>\n

    Frank admits he will not be able to win over every Spurs fan after being dumped and hearing chants that he was ‘sacked in the morning’ after the defeat by rivals West Ham.<\/p>\n

    The pressure is mounting on Frank and he takes a depleted squad for the match against Dortmund with only 11 senior players available to be selected for their Champions League group stage matches.<\/p>\n

    Spurs then visit 19th-placed Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday, but there has been no final decision on Frank’s future.<\/p>\n

      One player Frank will be hoping to help turn things around against Dortmund is Dominic Solanke, who has confirmed his return to Spurs’ Champions League squad as a replacement for Mathys Tel.<\/p>\n

      Article 31.14 c of the UEFA rules and regulations states that a team can pick up a player if the player has been ill or injured for 60 days.<\/p>\n

      Tel replaced Solanke in the team to play with Slavia Prague<\/strong> in December, but according to UEFA rules, Solanke can still return to the club instead of Tel, but no other Spurs player.<\/p>\n

      Speaking about the situation on Monday afternoon, Frank said: “I have made a decision.<\/p>\n

      \u201cThe way the rules are, the only choice was Dom or Mathys in the team and I chose Dom.<\/p>\n

      “I think Mathys has done really well in the last few games and that’s crazy; if I had to pick out of all the fit players, he’d start tomorrow.<\/p>\n

      “But I could choose between the two of them and now he is no longer in the squad, so it is difficult to take it from Mathys.<\/p>\n
