Asked if he thought the club now lacked atmosphere because of its decline, Carrick said: “I certainly don’t think it’s unreasonable. I think there’s a magic in this place. I can feel it and feel at home straight away, when I walk into the building.<\/p>\n
“The results and sometimes things on the outside look a little different, but they don’t feel very different on the inside.<\/p>\n
“Part of my role and responsibility is to shape what we want to look like going forward as a team.
