OKC brings a five-game winning streak to South Beach, and my Thunder vs. The Heat are targeting the visiting bench for a Miami team that will be cut in the backcourt.

Thunder vs Heat is the best bet: Ajay Mitchell Over 12.5 points (+100)

Ajay Mitchell has become such a valuable weapon off the bench for the Oklahoma City Thunder, launching a consistent offense and allowing Mark Daigneault to keep Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s career at a manageable 33.3 MPG.

After a quiet December, Mitchell has found that rhythm again this month, and I like the Over on his prop points tonight against the Miami Heat. He is averaging 14.8 PPG so far in 2026 and finished with 17 points on Thursday against the Houston Rockets.

The visitors’ second unit feels like the X-factor here, and Mitchell is the most dynamic bucket-scorer in that group. He also showed a willingness to be more aggressive on the road, where his scoring jumped to 15.2 PPG, with a 37% mark from 3-point range.

Miami’s defense represents a good matchup, too. The Warriors rank third-lowest in the NBA in points allowed per game (117.8), and have coughed up 119+ points in five straight contests.

Mitchell has surpassed that number in his last five games, and poured in 16 points on 8-for-15 shooting in last weekend’s win over the Heat. He’s poised to have a similar impact in this rematch, and the absence of Miami’s Davion Mitchell leaves the hosts with not much depth on the perimeter to worry OKC’s guards.

The Heat’s 14-7 mark at the Kaseya Center looks impressive here until you remember that the Thunder are 15-4 on the road. OKC combined for the spread with wins over the Spurs and Rockets this week, while Miami has lost four of its last five contests and is questionable with Tyler Herro’s injury. I put points in this SGP.

I’ll double sit on the Thunder bench and Over on Cason Wallace’s points. Wallace hasn’t scored many goals this month, but he has scored three points in back-to-back games. He’s also an easy transition basket candidate against the quick Heat.
