49ers vs Seahawks Props & Best Bets for NFC Divisional Round

The San Francisco 49ers head to Lumen Field to face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round tonight.
These NFC West rivals have had defensive struggles when they’ve faced off against each other earlier this season, hence my 49ers vs. Seahawks are stage players Sam Darnold and Christian McCaffrey disappear.

Christian McCaffrey Most Rushes Under 11.5 Yards (+104)
San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey was very productive as a receiver but couldn’t find ground. He averaged just 3.8 yards per carry in the regular season and playoffs and never broke many big runs.
McCaffrey’s longest rush has been less than 11.5 yards in nine of the past 15 games. That includes Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks, when his best carry went for five yards.

Seattle has the league’s best run defense and is holding opponents to an explosive rushing rate of just 6.7% – the lowest number in the NFL. In addition, the Seahawks are a 7-point favorite, upending the Niners’ pass-heavy roster and a few C-Mac carries.
Sam Darnold Under 233.5 yards (-114)
Seahawks QB Sam Darnold came off Thursday’s injury report with an oblique injury he suffered while throwing routes in the air. He’ll definitely play, but I doubt Seattle will push the ball downfield, especially with Darnold’s history of melting down in big games.
Remember that Darnold threw for less than 200 yards in the last two games of the regular season and had 150 passing yards against San Fran in Week 1.

The Seahawks had the third-lowest passer rating in the NFL and played at the sixth-slowest tempo. Expect them to lean on their defense and ground game, which results in Darnold not being able to get to his passing yards.
Zach Charbonnet Over 45.5 rushing yards (-114)
Zach Charbonnet saw his touches increase late in the regular season. He carried the rock 17 times for 74 yards against San Fran in the season finale and had 18 carries for 110 yards against Carolina last week.
It’s worth noting that Charbonnet faced 8+ defenders in the box on 35.3% of his runs – the third highest number in the league. However, San Francisco’s defense used the stacked box a league-low 15.6% of the time.

The Niners are 31st in the league in rushing defense and have struggled in the secondary due to a slew of injuries at linebacker.
