Update: Back in April 2025, Footy Headlines exclusively reported that River Plate would release a special 125th anniversary kit. Now, we can confirm the leak with the first real images of the jersey, giving a clear look at its design and details. Big thanks to @maxpugliese92.

This shirt commemorates the 125th anniversary of Club Atlético River Plate, founded on 25 May 1901, and the anniversary will be marked in May 2026.

I Adidas River Plate 2026 125th Anniversary Jersey it has a clean, beautiful, and very traditional design. It comes in a classic white base, combined with the club’s iconic red sash, staying true to River Plate’s timeless identity.

To add a retro feel, the shirt is completed with a polo-style collar, which enhances its classic and festive character.

The Adidas Club Atlético River Plate 2026 125-Year Anniversary jersey features the Adidas Trefoil logo, paired with the historic River Plate crest inspired by the club’s original logo used between 1918 and 1928.

Notably, the original circular gear frame has been removed, leaving behind a simple and refined logo that perfectly matches the theme of the memorial.

Both the Trefoil logo and the River Plate crest are rendered in the same color as the shirt, creating a subtle, tonal look. From a distance, this gives the Adidas River 2026 125-Year Anniversary shirt the look of an almost obvious football shirt – understated, elegant, and symbolic.
