Rangers 5 – 0 Annan

Rangers are safely through to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after a comfortable 5-0 victory over fourth-tier Annan Athletic at Ibrox.
Bojan Miovski scored a hat-trick as Danny Röhl’s much-reversed side, which included nine changes from the weekend, registered a sixth straight win.
The 34-time winners will learn about their last 16 opponents following Celtic’s visit to Rugby Park to face Auchinleck Talbot on Sunday evening.
Before kick-off, Rangers revealed the signing of Danish midfielder Andreas Skov Olsen by unveiling him to the Ibrox crowd along with fellow January arrivals Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens. The 26-year-old joins the club on loan from Wolfsburg until the end of the season, with an option to make it permanent in the summer.
Miovski opened the scoring on 12 minutes when he created a yard of space on the edge of the area to fire a powerful left-footed effort past Charlie Albinson.
The North Macedonian then doubled his tally after 20 minutes when he headed in Findlay Curtis’ cross from close range.
Academy graduate Curtis, who has been heavily linked with a loan move to the club this month, has been a threat all night and will now be cup-tied if he moves to another Scottish club this window.
The Light Blues added a third just three minutes into the second half as Kieran Dowell scored on his first appearance since August with a header from fellow Joe Rothwell. And they are not finished there.
Miovski completed his hat-trick in the penalty spot in the 75th minute before substitute Thelo Aasgaard rounded off the scoring with a 30-metre free-kick four minutes from time.
New signing Chukwuani, who joined this month from Sturm Graz for an initial fee of £4.3m, has made his Rangers debut, as has 17-year-old Zebedee Lawson, who signed from Brighton in the summer.
Röhl led the league and cup twice
Rangers manager Danny Röhl speaking at the post-match press conference:
“I think in general we can play for two titles at the moment, I think that’s what we want.
“In the cup, you need a few wins to enter the final, I think this is a good opportunity, we want to push.
“I think we’re hungry in the dressing room. I think it was a big statement in Aberdeen (which won 2-0) when I heard the dressing room after the win it was really nice.
“It showed me that there is something growing, there is connection, there is belief, there is trust in each other, it’s really nice to see.”
In the new signing: “I think in general it’s been a good week for us. We’ve signed three players.
“In everything I am very happy, I am proud of what we are doing right now, but we have to move forward, we will not do less.
“We’re hungry, you can hear everything right now, and there’s a lot of confidence at the back.
“There is pride at the back, but this time we have to work hard to continue like this in the next few weeks.”
